About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in planning, development, implementation, education, and training for clinical systems impacting patient care
- Identify and analyze clinical practices and processes and recommend modifications or solutions to improve clinical care effectiveness and efficiency
- Support deployment of clinical information systems for clients and provide at-the-elbow technical support
- Participate in clinical information systems content and design development and research best-practice standards
- Test, evaluate, maintain, and provide feedback on clinical systems
- Support clinical transformation and help staff maximize information technology use where care is provided
- Facilitate communication and collaborative relationships with clinical and non-clinical clinical-system users
- Maintain proficient use of installed information systems
- Prioritize and respond to client support needs, develop response plans, and complete follow-up and evaluation
- Refine systems and workflows on an ongoing basis
- Perform other duties as required
- Potentially participate in an on-call rotation for critical applications and travel as necessary to support the business
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate from an accredited clinical program required (e.g., RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP)
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree required
- Master's degree preferred
- Currently licensed as a clinician (e.g., RN, RT, PT, OT, SLP) in South Carolina, or hold a current compact/multi-state license in a recognized compact state if not a permanent resident of South Carolina
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
- Thorough understanding of clinical processes and practices
- Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience executing ITIL-aligned service management processes, including Incident, Request, and Change Management
- Experience managing application support and documentation
- Basic knowledge of computer skills, email, spreadsheets, and word processing
- Knowledge of electronic health records
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently
- Ability to apply clinical practice, collaboration/teamwork, leadership and professional development, and process improvement/systems thinking skills
