About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install and provide service support for Nordson Matrix AXI
- Manage customer relationships
- Provide service and application support to customers in the assigned territory
- Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of designated equipment
- Plan and schedule servicing work to avoid affecting factory output
- Conduct preventative maintenance and field modifications
- Maintain customer service logs and internal service records
- Communicate daily with customers and Nordson management to ensure resolution and follow-up
- Maintain and calibrate tools and test equipment
- Submit detailed daily work reports for each machine
- Plan all parts needed for customers
- Maintain attendance logs and submit them on time for billing
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required (Electronics preferred; Electrical or Instrumentation also considered)
- Candidates with a diploma may be eligible if their experience is highly relevant
- Around 0–3 years in installation and customer support of high-value capital equipment
- At least 1 year of this experience in Southern India
- Ability to understand pneumatic, electric, electronics, and control systems
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Willingness to travel if required
- Ability to learn new skills
- High-energy, service-oriented personality
- Achievement motivation
