Key responsibilities & impact

Lead discovery and analysis for complex JD Edwards EnterpriseOne initiatives, enhancements, integrations, and process improvements across finance, distribution, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and asset management
Partner with process owners, subject-matter experts, architects, developers, security teams, and vendors to translate business objectives into functional and nonfunctional requirements
Evaluate current-state processes, data, controls, pain points, and system capabilities; define future-state processes and scalable solution options
Develop business cases, process maps, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, decision records, traceability, and other analysis deliverables
Recommend configuration and delivered functionality before customization
Provide senior functional guidance for JD Edwards applications, data, integrations, reporting, security roles, batch processing, and adjacent enterprise platforms
Analyze and troubleshoot technical integrations, including interfaces, data flows, endpoints, authentication, error handling, and dependencies
Identify cross-functional dependencies, risks, assumptions, and impacts; facilitate timely decisions
Lead business-analysis workstreams for implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, global rollouts, and continuous-improvement initiatives
Define outcomes, scope, priorities, estimates, milestones, dependencies, and delivery approaches with product owners, project managers, and sponsors
Coordinate functional design reviews, prototyping, testing, defect triage, data validation, cutover readiness, training, communications, and post-implementation support
Create and execute test strategies and scenarios validating end-to-end processes, integrations, reports, controls, and data quality
Maintain enhancement and defect backlogs and support prioritization
Monitor delivered outcomes and service trends, identify root causes, and recommend improvements
Ensure solutions and documentation are complete, supportable, auditable, and transitioned to operational teams
Build relationships with business process owners, site leaders, end users, and technology teams across a global organization
Facilitate workshops, interviews, process reviews, design sessions, and decision forums
Communicate complex business and technical topics through documentation, presentations, demonstrations, and status updates
Coordinate issue resolution across process, data, configuration, security, integration, infrastructure, and usability teams
Support organizational change through stakeholder-impact assessments, communications, training, adoption, and readiness plans
Represent business needs while promoting standardized processes, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, internal controls, and sustainable platform practices
Serve as a subject-matter expert and mentor without direct people-management responsibility
Establish and improve reusable business-analysis methods, templates, quality standards, and knowledge assets
Contribute to product roadmaps and portfolio planning
Evaluate emerging JD Edwards capabilities, including EnterpriseOne Orchestrator, workflow, automation, personalization, analytics, reporting, and user-experience enhancements
Regularly engage business process owners, end users, IT leaders, architects, developers, vendors, project managers, and senior stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Typically 7 or more years of progressive business analysis, enterprise applications, or ERP experience
Substantial JD Edwards EnterpriseOne experience
Demonstrated leadership of complex cross-functional initiatives
Experience analyzing complex business needs, influencing decisions without direct authority, and delivering secure, scalable, measurable process and technology improvements
Deep functional knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 and supported business processes
Expertise in business analysis techniques, including elicitation, process modeling, requirements management, data analysis, root-cause analysis, solution evaluation, and benefits measurement
Working knowledge of EnterpriseOne Orchestrator, AIS, REST services, business services, reporting, workflow, automation, integrations, and data-management practices
Experience with JD Edwards complementary solutions, including RF-SMART, IntelliChief, InfoShip, All-Out Security, and ReportsNow
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, least-privilege access, segregation of duties, auditability, change control, privacy, and financial or regulatory controls applicable to ERP solutions
Experience supporting implementations, upgrades, global rollouts, acquisitions, integrations, data migrations, or major process-transformation programs
Strong facilitation, negotiation, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and executive-presentation skills
Ability to lead through influence, mentor peers, make sound risk-based recommendations, and manage multiple priorities in a global environment
Relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, JD Edwards or Oracle, ITIL, project management, or Agile are preferred
Strong listening, facilitation, written communication, and presentation skills
