About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work on high-impact IP and technology transactions, including standalone technology transactions and IP/technology aspects of M&A, private equity, and ECVC transactions
- Use AI agents to streamline drafting, diligence, and execution processes
- Generate, compare, and revise technology and IP transaction documents
- Conduct rapid document reviews and identify key terms using AI tools
- Generate client-facing diligence memoranda focused on IP and technology diligence
- Integrate AI agents into workflow management, signing and closing checklists, and counterparty coordination
- Advise clients on AI-assisted workflows that improve accuracy, transparency, and deal velocity
- Collaborate with technology teams to improve deal-process efficiency using AI
- Learn the firm's AI platforms and advise clients on matters and workflows
- Independently use AI agents to review and generate transaction documentation and support negotiations
- Lead AI-augmented workstreams in live transactions using concentrated legal judgment and Norm Ai technology
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctor (JD), or equivalent
- Admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 4+ years of law firm experience in Technology Transactions and/or IP Transactions as the primary practice
- Substantive hands-on record drafting and negotiating technology and IP agreements, with depth from doing this work at volume
- Experience supporting IP and Tech workstreams of M&A and private equity transactions
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to move matters forward
- AI fluency and practical, hands-on use of AI in day-to-day work; candidates should be prepared to demonstrate AI tools, workflows, and outcomes
- Authorization to work in the United States is addressed in the application requirements
