About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop Norm’s point of view on AI, law, regulation, and the future of work with executives and subject-matter experts
  • Write and produce thought leadership, reports, articles, executive bylines, case studies, presentations, campaign assets, website copy, sales materials, and other content
  • Lead editorial strategy and establish a clear editorial roadmap
  • Own content from research and interviews through outlining, drafting, editing, reviews, production, publication, and distribution
  • Partner with Brand, Communications, Product Marketing, GTM, and Norm Law on positioning, voice, and priorities
  • Develop repeatable editorial franchises and content series
  • Repurpose major content for social, email, events, campaigns, executive communications, and sales enablement
  • Manage editorial calendars, contributors, stakeholders, and deadlines
  • Measure content performance and use audience insights to improve content and distribution
  • Build knowledge of Norm’s business, products, audiences, brand narrative, and content priorities
  • Establish editorial processes, content strategy, calendars, and ongoing editorial programs
  • Publish high-impact content and demonstrate impact through engagement, adoption, campaign performance, and stakeholder feedback

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–7+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of clear, compelling work created for sophisticated or executive audiences
  • Track record of developing high-impact thought leadership and marketing materials across multiple formats and channels
  • Experience working directly with executives and subject-matter experts to develop original points of view and translate expertise into accessible content
  • Strong editorial judgment
  • Experience independently shaping content strategy and leading complex projects from an ambiguous starting point through publication
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple content initiatives, contributors, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Comfort engaging deeply with complex, technical, or highly regulated subject matter
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for thoughtful action in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Familiarity with AI, legal technology, regulation and policy, or another complex enterprise category is a plus
  • Experience writing for legal, compliance, risk, technology, or C-suite audiences is a plus
  • Experience creating research-driven reports, executive thought leadership, or original editorial franchises is a plus
  • Familiarity with content distribution, search, AEO, social media, email marketing, and audience development is a plus
  • Experience directing designers, video producers, agencies, freelancers, or other creative contributors is a plus
  • Active, hands-on AI fluency; candidates must be prepared to demonstrate concrete AI tools, workflows, and outcomes
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
