About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

  • Ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of aluminium scrap across multiple sites
  • Oversee daily scrap and metal planning
  • Manage import logistics and quality compliance
  • Support efficient remelt operations and uphold plant standards
  • Analyze performance and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Drive continuous improvement in material yield, inventory control, and strategic reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years in procurement or strategic sourcing, ideally in manufacturing, metals, or industrial supply chain environments
  • Experience managing supplier contracts, audits, and performance metrics
  • Experience with customs, port operations, and international shipping documentation
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Fluent English is mandatory
  • Fluent Spanish and English are both mandatory according to the Spanish requirements section
  • Portuguese is a plus; any other language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel monthly
  • Ability to work independently with leader involvement
