About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with ENA plants to identify, develop, and execute capital projects focused on automation and controls improvements
Lead machine integration from installation through startup, commissioning, validation, and operational handoff
Design, implement, troubleshoot, and optimize automated systems, industrial controls, and manufacturing processes
Develop and maintain SCADA systems using Ignition
Research, evaluate, and implement manufacturing equipment, automation technologies, and control solutions
Ensure automation systems and equipment operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable standards
Develop and improve manufacturing and testing processes to achieve quality, productivity, delivery, and cost objectives
Recommend and implement process improvements, equipment modifications, and automation enhancements
Ensure manufacturing processes meet production, quality, delivery, and cost targets
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors, and suppliers to execute projects and resolve technical challenges
Support standardization and continuous improvement of automation, controls, and manufacturing technologies across ENA facilities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
At least 5 years of Industrial Automation Systems Design
Ignition Core Certification
Ability to program PLC logic in Rockwell and Siemens systems
Experience integrating shop-floor equipment and automation systems with enterprise applications, databases, manufacturing systems, and ERP platforms
Ability to interpret and utilize AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks drawings
Experience programming, integrating, and troubleshooting industrial robotics systems
FANUC and/or ABB experience
