About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Pull all correct tooling for press schedules and supply them to the correct Press/location
- Remove all used tooling from presses and separate tooling for caustic/storage
- Load used tooling into boil out tanks
- Remove boiled out tooling from caustic tanks, rinse, and dry
- Shot blast all dies from caustic cleaning and transport them into the die repair shop
- Manipulate and control steel weighing 50–75 lbs through pulling, pushing, and lifting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision tooling
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and setup documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in aluminum extrusion, die shop operations, or industrial manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, and lifting devices (preferred)
- Knowledge of extrusion dies, tooling assembly, and die handling practices (preferred)
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers (preferred)
