About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist other workers in ensuring correct product dimensions and quality standards
- Move and position materials at the work site with assistance from other workers
- Assist the saw operator
- Assist with measurements and/or production layout using a tape measure
- Load and stack work in process by hand or truck
- Complete production identification tickets
- Assist in packaging material
- Clean the work area, machines, tools, and equipment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be able to understand and deliver basic commands in English
- Background in the operation of manufacturing, production, machine tools/equipment is a plus
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours or 12-hour shifts
- Good math skills
- Forklift experience is a plus
