About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance with Hydro Quality system, HSE regulations, policies, and standardized operating procedures
  • Take active part in incident resolution
  • Work with global support teams to resolve IT infrastructure and application-related issues
  • Install or participate in installation of IT infrastructure components, applications, and relevant tools
  • Monitor and maintain location-specific infrastructure and applications
  • Comply with area-specific customer requirements
  • Participate in location-specific and global IT projects
  • Maintain user accounts within locally supported applications
  • Act as location representative of GBS IT professionals
  • Participate in IT change management flows
  • Troubleshoot IT infrastructure incidents and application errors; diagnose and solve hardware/software faults
  • Maintain the location-specific part of Active Directory
  • Follow global architecture, security, and operational standards and policies
  • Maintain location-specific IT documentation
  • Prioritize work in compliance with GBS IT Service Level Agreements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 or more years work experience on the field of IT Infrastructure
  • IT Technician qualification is a must
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • French is preferred
  • Travel to Montreal plant quarterly expected
  • ITIL Certification is preferred
  • Exposure to and understanding of a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Experience in basic Vendor management processes is preferred
  • Eagerness to learn and further develop yourself professionally
