About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advocate housekeeping and safety standards in the Department
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all types of industrial equipment as an electro-mechanical technician
  • Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment using multiple PLCs, testing devices, and instruments used in electrical and pyrometric trades
  • Install or repair conduit, wiring, cable, electric motors, transformers and other electrical components
  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components
  • Operate arc and MIG welders and gas torches for welding, soldering, brazing and cutting
  • Fabricate parts from blueprints and sketches

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Schooling/Certifications in relevant field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in relevant Field
  • Strong mechanical skills including pumps, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • Must be safety conscious and have a good safety record
  • Working knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Word
  • Must be able to effectively work with CMMS
  • Must be an excellent problem solver
  • Must be a team player
  • Take a Maintenance skills test (Tooling University)
