About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs needed
- Assess equipment for overall functionality
- Plan and coordinate labor, parts, materials and equipment access to improve workforce productivity and quality
- Anticipate and eliminate potential delays
- Assess equipment and work-order backlog to plan work assignments and project schedules
- Develop maintenance procedures and schedules
- Evaluate equipment and coordinate and schedule maintenance activities
- Ensure safe, efficient and reliable plant operations
- Work closely with Maintenance and Reliability to ensure work is properly planned, resourced, prioritized and completed
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED required
- 8+ years of related experience in an industrial maintenance, mechanical technology, engineering technology or related field
- 2+ years in maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability or maintenance coordination experience
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office products
- Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) (preferred)
- Strong practical equipment knowledge combined with maintenance planning and reliability expertise (preferred)
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and controls systems in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to assess equipment condition and functionality, maintenance planning and scheduling (preferred)
