About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supervise maintenance teams, ensuring the execution of preventive, corrective, and emergency activities, with a focus on safety, reliability, and operational continuity
Plan and monitor the execution of maintenance plans
Ensure the availability of the resources, materials, tools, and personnel required to meet the schedule
Monitor and analyze maintenance KPIs
Participate in planning meetings and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes
Lead and develop the team by promoting technical training, performance monitoring, and people management
Ensure compliance with internal standards and procedures
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality requirements
Conduct field inspections and ensure the proper use of PPE and collective protective equipment
Support Maintenance Management and Engineering in preparing OPEX and CAPEX budgets
Support technical specifications, service contracting, and management of the resources required for operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed technical education in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Electromechanics, or related fields
Extensive experience in maintenance
Experience supervising teams and managing personnel
Knowledge of industrial maintenance planning and execution
Knowledge of the operation, functioning, and maintenance of pipe conveyors
Understanding of the belt-forming process, including belt opening and closing along the conveyor
Experience diagnosing misalignment, cover wear, splice damage, overlap reversal, and structural failures
Experience monitoring maintenance KPIs and managing resources
Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as 5S and the PDCA Cycle
Experience managing organizational climate and developing teams
Knowledge of safety standards and procedures applicable to industrial maintenance
Basic NR-10 certification (40 hours) for supervising electrical maintenance activities
Team leadership and development
