About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain and improve facility floors, including patching and epoxy work
- Perform safety checks and preventive maintenance on the building and equipment
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, landscaping, and basic plumbing
- Maintain and monitor equipment for reliability and compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
- Complete assigned custodial work, pest control, snow removal, and yard care
- Create and complete documentation of daily activities
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, cranes, aerial lifts, carts, floor maintenance machines, and company trucks
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor; job assignments may be added, deleted, or modified
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be safety conscious and have a good safety record
- Ability to advocate housekeeping and safety standards in the department
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field
- Electrical skills preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Good organizational and time management skill
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to use CMMS system (MVP)
