About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Verify product compliance with Hydro quality standards, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
- Perform various tests, inspections, and quality control activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help maintain a safe working environment.
- Reporting to the Quality Supervisor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a quality or manufacturing environment, or relevant training related to ASTM testing procedures (e.g., B221, B557).
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in inspection and quality control within an ISO 9001 environment.
- Proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- English is required to communicate with colleagues, suppliers, and partners located outside Quebec.
- Evening shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., 37.5 hours per week; schedules may vary according to plant needs.
- Availability to start on the day/evening shift during the probationary period to receive adequate training.
