About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expert guidance in SAP solutions, focusing on support and maintenance
- Own and resolve tickets efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve SAP incidents and problems
- Perform system analysis and design enhancements to meet business requirements and interface needs
- Conduct regular system audits using SAP best practices
- Lead SAP system upgrade and enhancement initiatives, considering dependencies and interface requirements
- Develop and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, processes and procedures, including manufacturing intricacies and integration points
- Lead evaluation, selection and configuration of SAP order-to-cash solutions
- Support and maintain the clean core initiative using SAP best practices
- Implement preventive measures in SAP support processes to improve stability and optimize business operations
- Travel regionally or globally as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in a comparable SAP role
- Hands-on application management experience with SAP ECC6 / S4 Hana
- Extensive senior-level SAP experience
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP PP and QM modules
- History of delivering high-impact solutions in a senior capacity
- Knowledge and experience in at least three of: materials management, procurement, inventory warehouse management, sales operations, logistics, finance and controlling
- Strong continuous improvement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to troubleshoot complex SAP issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- SAP integration experience with different business systems, especially MES systems
- Experience with integration tools
- Experience in discrete manufacturing and/or automotive is preferred
- IT / Business degree or equivalent
- SAP & ITIL Certification is preferred
- Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes
- Understanding of the technical environment of relevant business applications
- English verbal and written language skills
