About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead owner-side project management on behalf of HalZero for internal development, pilot, and modification projects
- Take overall responsibility for successful project delivery
- Develop and manage project plans and ensure execution from concept to handover
- Identify and mobilize relevant Hydro internal resources, including Hydro Projects
- Ensure HSE and compliance through safe project execution, effective risk management, and adherence to governance and documentation requirements
- Coordinate activities across technology, engineering, operations, suppliers, and other key stakeholders
- Translate technical requirements into practical solutions
- Follow projects through installation, commissioning, and verification
- Capture lessons learned and improve project practices, tools, and HalZero’s project execution capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience from industrial projects, within process industry, pilot plants, R&D or similar technical environments
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders, contractors, and service providers
- Strong understanding of project execution, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Confidence in managing interfaces, risks, and project priorities in a dynamic environment
- Structured and proactive mindset
- Ability to build relationships, influence others, and drive progress without formal authority
- Relevant diplomas and transcripts must be attached
- Successful completion of background and security-related checks may be required
- Physical presence at Hydro facilities in Porsgrunn is required
