About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Check documentation for accuracy, including packing lists, conversions, addresses, and related data
  • Separate and distribute documentation packets as needed
  • Enter data to generate bills of lading or air bills for shipments
  • Match test certifications with orders and distribute them as designated
  • Generate shipping reports and maintain files relating to shipping documentation
  • Communicate internally to determine specific shipping instructions
  • Calculate dimensions and weights as required
  • Check shipment status in transit
  • Respond to inquiries and provide directions and information to drivers
  • Prepare special or periodic reports relating to departmental activity
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area in accordance with 5S standards
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Support the packing area as needed or designated

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Passing Forklift exam based on internal requirements
  • Strong Mathematics Skills
  • Strong typing and PC Skills (Data entry, word processing, excel spreadsheet)
  • Basic knowledge of shipping procedures
  • Excellent Attention to Detail
  • Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Knowledge of process related standards
  • Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with HSE, quality, productivity, and standard-method requirements
