About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Load and unload inbound and outbound freight using a forklift or Combi
- Receive and verify all incoming shipments
- Complete and sign receiving logs
- Maintain shipping and receiving files, including scrap logs and other required documentation
- Create delivery documents and post load plans
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Forklift/Combi certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Basic math and counting skills with frequent interruptions
- English communication skills, including telephone use
- Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, U.S. Department of Transportation and Motor Carrier rules and regulations
- Ability to work various shifts and overtime as needed
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Oracle; can learn on the job
