About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Close the books monthly, timely, and accurately in accordance with GAAP
  • Prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet account reconciliations, and conduct P&L analyses
  • Analyze period-over-period results and provide commentary on variances
  • Automate and streamline manual and inefficient processes
  • Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of internal controls
  • Assist external auditors with information for the year-end financial statement audit
  • Collaborate with peers, AP, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A
  • Support key accounting functions in the monthly close process and maintain financial data accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience as an accounting professional
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Public accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Large scale ERP system experience (i.e., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong aptitude to understand accounting systems and how to extract and reconcile information
  • Able to work in a dynamic, fluid, fast-paced environment
  • Able to effectively work on a remote team
