About the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Registry or Certification as a Medical Assistant through a recognized certification body
  • Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize various responsibilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competency in using medical software and electronic health records
  • Problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Empathy and a patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to read, write, reason, talk, keyboard, and drive
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and carry up to 20 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand/walk, push/pull, and kneel/stoop/bend frequently
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations professionally
