About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Directors and Senior Managers in identifying, evaluating, and advancing renewable energy growth opportunities across the International Hub
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and reviews of policy and regulatory developments
  • Assess regulatory, competitive, and macroeconomic dynamics and provide investment recommendations
  • Research and screen greenfield, single-asset/small portfolio M&A, and partnership opportunities
  • Maintain networks of developers, advisors, investors, and market contacts
  • Prepare transaction strategy, commercial positioning, negotiation materials, briefing materials, and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate inputs, track workstreams, and prepare materials through exclusivity, signing, and major milestone decisions
  • Support business case development, transaction rationale, due diligence, and comparative opportunity analysis
  • Analyze potential PPAs and other offtake structures and support commercial structuring and pricing assumptions
  • Prepare business cases, investment proposals, analyses, slides, and materials for senior leadership and Board presentations
  • Coordinate technical, commercial, and financial due diligence with internal and external resources
  • Track project progress, deadlines, emerging issues, action logs, and status updates
  • Support transition of qualified opportunities to SP&D with documented scope, assumptions, risks, value drivers, and open issues
  • Coordinate cross-functional deal teams across SP&D, Finance, Legal, and other functions
  • Maintain market materials, capture lessons learned, and improve Business Development templates and processes
  • Support annual planning, long-term strategy, and capital deployment work for the International Hub

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of four (4) to six (6) years of experience in corporate development, investment analysis, M&A, project development, investment banking, consulting, or a related role within the energy or infrastructure sectors
  • Experience supporting complex transactions, investment cases, or strategic projects, including preparation of analysis and materials for senior stakeholders
  • Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external advisors
  • Experience working across different geographies
  • Appreciation of a global mindset
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate inputs across diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and diligence in completing information and projects within deadlines
