About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and own Northspyre's sales enablement strategy and playbook, including methodology, qualification standards, discovery, messaging, objection handling, deal strategy, competitive positioning, and closing practices
- Establish a repeatable sales process while preserving individual seller strengths and styles
- Analyze the sales motion to identify gaps in process, skills, messaging, pipeline management, tools, and execution
- Develop and implement structured sales onboarding and ramp programs
- Establish ongoing sales training and coaching using call reviews, deal reviews, role plays, and pipeline reviews
- Partner with Sales leadership on pipeline generation, opportunity management, forecasting, conversion, and quota attainment
- Create systems and operating rhythms for consistent execution
- Coach sales managers and individual contributors and develop performance improvement plans
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, RevOps, and Leadership on positioning, messaging, and sales process
- Develop and maintain sales collateral, talk tracks, competitive intelligence, case studies, battlecards, and other seller resources
- Use data to identify performance trends, bottlenecks, and coaching or process-improvement opportunities
- Build structure and accountability while maintaining a collaborative, entrepreneurial, customer-focused culture
- Build the foundation for a scalable sales enablement function, including processes, technology, metrics, and operating cadence
- Partner with Sales leadership on GTM initiatives and organizational development
- Take on increasing people-management and sales leadership responsibilities as the team grows
- In the first 90 days, understand the sales motion, identify high-impact gaps, and create a prioritized enablement roadmap
- Within six months, establish an adopted sales playbook, strengthen onboarding and coaching, and create a consistent operating rhythm
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in B2B sales, sales enablement, sales leadership, sales operations, or a combination of these disciplines
- Track record of improving how sales teams sell
- Experience creating or significantly improving a sales playbook, methodology, onboarding program, or enablement function
- Strong experience coaching sellers and/or managers across the sales cycle, from prospecting through close
- Highly analytical and process-oriented approach
- Ability to translate strategy into clear, practical processes and behaviors that salespeople use
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence stakeholders across the organization without direct authority
- Bias toward action and experimentation in an environment where the playbook is still being written
- Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling sales messaging and repeatable behaviors
- Builder's mentality and interest in growing into broader responsibility
- Customer-centric mindset and interest in understanding customer purchasing behavior and urgency
- Bonus: Experience at a venture-backed, private equity-backed, or sponsor-backed company
- Bonus: Experience building a sales enablement function or sales organization from the ground up
- Bonus: Experience turning a successful sales motion into a repeatable system for a larger team
- Bonus: Experience with private equity operating teams, portfolio companies, or sales transformation initiatives
- Bonus: Experience with MEDDICC, MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPIN, Sandler, or similar methodologies
- Bonus: SaaS experience, especially complex B2B software with multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Bonus: Experience selling into commercial real estate, construction, development, or another complex industry
- Bonus: Experience partnering with RevOps on CRM hygiene, forecasting, pipeline analytics, and sales productivity

- Bonus: Experience with sales compensation, territory design, segmentation, or other GTM scaling elements
