About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Service all retail loans and provide accurate loan records and documentation
Support assigned servicing areas including consumer loans, dealer services, loan payoffs, imaging, escrow, construction, loan support, loan operations, investor accounting, and modifications
Maximize available technology tools and develop knowledge of servicing and origination systems
Partner with third-party vendors and agencies
Review and send customer correspondence and respond to customer inquiries
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations
Post loan transactions for all product types
Complete new loan setup, post-closing, and new loan fundings
Process payoff quotes and payoff transactions
Initiate automatic loan-payment transfers and perform loan maintenance
Monitor and service escrow accounts, collateral records, lien information, insurance, flood insurance, and tax records
Research and correct posting errors and maintain document and data integrity
Monitor document tracking and perform report reconciliation
Meet loan servicing benchmarks and peak-volume requirements
Recommend procedure improvements and develop customer service levels
Complete imaging and indexing of loan documents
Balance workstations daily
Work as part of a team with on-site equipment

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
2 - 6 years customer service experience preferred
Lending experience preferred
Basic administrative skills
Ability to work with financial data
Ability to navigate Microsoft Office software, computer applications, and department-specific software
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work with on-site equipment
