About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support day-to-day strategic go-to-market needs for team members and practice group lawyers
- Produce client-targeted marketing materials, bids, RFPs, presentations, publications, and client value reports
- Monitor strategic actions and lead follow-up efforts
- Identify and develop engagement opportunities with target clients and client teams
- Coordinate development and publication of client outcomes and thought leadership
- Manage newsletters, blogs, client alerts, and external communications
- Develop internal communications and talking points for practice-team engagement activities
- Maintain consistent marketing communications across channels, including social media
- Track and analyze client engagement in CRM and experience management systems
- Plan, implement, and report on conferences, sponsorships, presentations, seminars, retreats, dinners, and other events
- Draft and coordinate legal directory and industry survey submissions
- Manage internal presentations for training and development programs
- Conduct or oversee research projects, including company relationship information and executive profiles
- Proof and organize content, experience lists, collateral, and marketing materials
- Maintain marketing mailings and lists in the CRM system
- Update US and relevant global intranet content
- Process check requests, invoices, and marketing support arrangements
- Coordinate resources for internal team meetings
- Assist with lateral integration and onboarding
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in marketing and business development
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience in marketing and business development and/or energy and infrastructure sectors strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity and continuous-learning mindset
- Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Comfort interacting with lawyers, professionals, and staff
- Diplomacy, enthusiasm, and perseverance
- Positive, collaborative attitude
- Comfort working in a fast-paced hybrid/remote environment
- Problem-solving, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple projects and navigate ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or ability to learn technology stacks quickly
- Willingness to learn and support AI-enabled tools
- Advanced functionality in PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with CRM and experience management systems preferred
- Good judgment and accountability
- Willingness to promote business principles of quality, unity, and integrity
