About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns for camps and enrichment programs
  • Refine keywords, search terms, negative keywords, bidding, geographic targeting, and budget allocation
  • Test ad copy and landing pages to improve completed registrations and acquisition efficiency
  • Build and optimize Facebook and Instagram campaigns in Meta Ads Manager
  • Develop and test audiences, creative concepts, messaging, and offers
  • Write ad copy and provide creative briefs to the content team
  • Develop a prioritized SEO plan for camps, after-school programs, and local enrollment opportunities
  • Conduct keyword research based on search intent and business value
  • Improve program and location pages, including titles, headings, content, and internal linking
  • Use Google Search Console and analytics to identify opportunities and diagnose performance changes
  • Identify technical SEO issues affecting crawling, indexing, and website usability
  • Implement SEO improvements and coordinate developer-supported changes
  • Improve local search visibility through accurate business information and location content
  • Measure organic search performance through qualified traffic, inquiries, and registrations
  • Validate conversion tracking across advertising platforms, analytics, and the registration process
  • Reconcile reported conversions with actual registrations and revenue
  • Allocate advertising spend based on timing, location, enrollment priorities, and capacity
  • Diagnose whether weak results stem from targeting, creative, landing pages, tracking, or registration friction
  • Provide concise weekly reporting on results, changes, lessons learned, and next actions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience managing both Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign setup, optimization, and budget decisions
  • Proven SEO experience with specific examples of work performed and measurable outcomes
  • Working proficiency in Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console
  • Experience implementing or troubleshooting conversion tracking
  • Strong analytical judgment and ability to explain performance changes and evidence-based decisions
  • Ability to connect marketing activity to customer acquisition and revenue
  • Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and ownership of results
  • Experience with local consumer services, family programs, education, or seasonal businesses preferred
  • Prior NYC parenting-market experience helpful but not required
  • AI tools and platform certifications welcome

  • Two brief personally managed paid campaign examples required: one Google Ads campaign and one Meta Ads campaign, including dates, spend, objective, conversion definition, results, exact responsibilities, and a specific optimization
  • Finalists must explain campaign decisions and diagnose a sample performance problem during a live discussion
