About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own a portfolio of launch, one-off, and evergreen lifecycle campaigns
  • Translate product launches, lifecycle moments, and business priorities into objectives, audiences, journeys, channel plans, and success metrics
  • Develop campaigns across onboarding, activation, adoption, collaboration, monetization, retention, and resurrection
  • Own audience creation, build, QA, localization, launch readiness, and post-campaign analysis across email and in-product messaging
  • Audit existing programs and lead priority onboarding or adoption journey rebuilds
  • Develop hypotheses and use segmentation, personalization, holdouts, and A/B tests to measure incremental impact
  • Connect campaigns to activation, adoption, collaboration, conversion, retention, or qualified sales outcomes
  • Coordinate dependencies across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Product Marketing, Marketing Operations, Demand Generation, Sales, and external partners
  • Create templates, playbooks, and reusable operating patterns
  • Enable safe self-service while maintaining strategic, customer-experience, and quality standards
  • Establish campaign operating rhythms, standards, QA, launch-readiness checks, and post-campaign readouts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant experience owning lifecycle, CRM, growth, or product-marketing campaigns from strategy through execution
  • Track record of independently leading complex, cross-functional campaigns at meaningful scale
  • Strong customer-journey thinking across activation, adoption, engagement, conversion, and retention
  • Hands-on experience with Customer.io, Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Strong audience segmentation, personalization, experimentation, and campaign-measurement skills
  • Ability to use data to prioritize opportunities, evaluate results, and change strategy
  • Working knowledge of SQL or self-serve analytics is a plus
  • Excellent project leadership, including clear briefs, dependable execution, proactive risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Strong editorial and customer judgment
  • Comfort operating in a product-led, highly cross-functional environment with incomplete information
  • Experience with B2B or product-led growth, product telemetry, in-product messaging, or AI-assisted campaign workflows is a plus
  • 8+ total years relevant + transferrable experience
  • Ability to work from a San Francisco or New York City office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days)
