About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Mentor team members to provide fast and friendly service
- Ensure every customer receives a great shopping experience
- Ensure physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude
- Stock and restock inventory merchandise throughout the facility
- Check in vendor deliveries
- Minimum of one year retail experience
- General computer knowledge
- Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts
- Assist in training
- Read, write, and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stand at all times
- Ability to kneel, lift, and bend up to 25 pounds
- Available to work any shift within store operational hours and weekends
- Must be 18 years of age
- Own reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times
- Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Prolonged periods of standing and working at a cash register
