About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
Mentor team members to provide fast and friendly service
Ensure every customer receives a great shopping experience
Maintain a courteous and friendly attitude
Stock and restock inventory merchandise throughout the facility
Check in vendor deliveries
Complete required paperwork, including shift reports, gas reconciliation, and cigarette counts
Assist with training
Assist the Store Manager as needed
Ensure physical maintenance, safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of store facilities
Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of one year retail experience
General computer knowledge
Ability to read, write, and operate electronic equipment and sales transactions
Good communication skills
Ability to follow instructions
Ability to stand at all times
Ability to kneel, lift, and bend up to 25 pounds
Ability to work any shift within operational hours and weekends
Must be 18 years of age
Own reliable transportation
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to traverse and access all areas of the store
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Prolonged periods of standing and working at a cash register
