About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, availability, and delivery timelines
Proactively communicate delays, risks, or changes to customers and provide revised timelines
Document customer-facing communications related to order changes or exceptions
Partner with sales, planning, and customer service to align on customer commitments
Follow up with vendors on outstanding confirmations, approvals, or deliverables
Escalate vendor performance issues or capacity concerns to leadership
Identify order-level risks and assess their impact on customer commitments and inventory availability
Decide how to handle exceptions, delays, or discrepancies, escalating when appropriate
Maintain records of exceptions and resolutions for pattern recognition and process improvement
Collaborate with the Post-Production Coordinator on in-transit risks
Direct Production Support on data entry, reporting, and document management priorities
Provide Production Support with context to maintain accurate order and risk records
Surface recurring issues and recommend process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to manage customer and vendor communications throughout the production cycle
Ability to own order-level risk management and exception handling
Ability to assess risks and their potential impact on customer commitments and inventory availability
Ability to make informed decisions regarding exceptions, delays, and discrepancies
