About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and engineering support during pre-sales and post-sales activities
- Assist in selecting and recommending drilling solutions based on customer requirements and operational conditions
- Analyze drilling performance data to identify trends, evaluate product performance, and support continuous improvement
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and product performance summaries for internal teams and customers
- Support investigation of technical issues and contribute to identifying practical solutions
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product Engineering teams
- Participate in technical discussions and customer meetings, developing confidence in presenting engineering recommendations
- Contribute to product improvement initiatives by collecting and sharing technical feedback and operational insights
- Develop knowledge of NOV ReedHycalog products, drilling technologies, and industry practices through hands-on experience and guidance
- Ensure activities comply with NOV safety, quality, and engineering standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Up to 2 years of professional experience in engineering or a related technical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply technical information
- Ability to develop practical solutions and make sound technical decisions with guidance from experienced colleagues
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality technical support
- Proactive attitude, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and develop new skills
- Interest in drilling technologies, engineering innovation, and continuous improvement
