About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide pre- and post-sales application support to customers and distributors through on-site visits, phone, email, and remote sessions
  • Conduct product demonstrations, customer evaluations, proof-of-concept studies, and technical presentations
  • Provide hands-on application training covering instrument operation, software, workflows, sample preparation, data interpretation, and relevant applications
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, software, and instrument-related issues with Field Service Engineers and internal technical teams
  • Assess customer workflows and recommend solutions using Nova Biomedical's Bio portfolio
  • Optimize customer experimental workflows and product usage
  • Develop scientific and technical relationships with customers across biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, academic, and research organizations
  • Identify customer needs, application trends, and market opportunities and communicate insights internally
  • Support seminars, workshops, user meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and technical marketing activities
  • Partner with Key Account Managers and Sales teams throughout the sales cycle
  • Provide technical input for account strategies, proposals, product positioning, and competitive opportunities
  • Develop and deliver application and product training programs for customers, distributors, Sales, Marketing, and Service teams
  • Develop and maintain application notes, protocols, FAQs, training materials, technical presentations, and application resources
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant technologies, scientific applications, competitive products, and Bio market trends
  • Share field experience with internal and global application teams
  • Communicate customer feedback, application challenges, competitive intelligence, and market needs to internal teams
  • Support escalated customer application issues and coordinate with global technical resources
  • Contribute to local application strategies, technical materials, and customer support processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in life science, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, laboratory instrumentation, or related industries
  • Hands-on experience with analytical or research laboratory instruments
  • Experience with imaging systems, cell analysis platforms, microscopy, high-content screening, flow cytometry, or other advanced Bio analytical technologies highly preferred
  • Experience supporting customers in Bio, biotechnology, biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, academic research, or life science markets
  • Experience with customer-facing application support, technical consulting, product demonstrations, application training, or workflow optimization
  • Strong understanding of biological laboratory workflows
  • Strong scientific presentation and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple customer projects, and prioritize activities in a field-based environment
  • Proficiency in Korean and business-level English
  • Frequent domestic travel throughout South Korea required (50% or more)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds
  • Ability to work in customer laboratory environments
  • Ability to operate tools, machinery, or technical equipment
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required
