About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and maintain a high-performance environment focused on customer satisfaction, employee morale and development
  • Directly manage Field Service staff in a regional model
  • Conduct periodic on-site visits with team members and ensure compliance with internal processes
  • Oversee on-location services for biotech and clinical customers, including installations, validations, maintenance, emergency repairs, equipment moves and training
  • Maintain recurring customer communications to identify and resolve issues and support customer growth
  • Manage regional service schedules to maximize productivity and efficiency while meeting customer expectations
  • Document field activity for internal stakeholders and customer requirements
  • Escalate challenging customer issues to Product Specialists and other key personnel
  • Deliver customer education programs supporting safe use of Nova equipment
  • Administer travel and expense programs to minimize organizational costs
  • Conduct regular field performance reviews aligned with field-service KPIs
  • Monitor regional KPIs and identify and resolve performance issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent organizational skills and commitment to meeting deadlines while ensuring quality
  • Ability to build effective business relationships and handle confidential information
  • Leadership experience within an established global services organization
  • Proven operational excellence, including KPIs, productivity tracking and process improvement
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Flexibility, leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge and experience with Service Management tools
  • Experience recruiting, mentoring and leading teams in a high-growth company
  • BA/BS degree and/or 5 years in service or commercial management, or relevant experience
  • Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, biologics or drugs
  • Understanding of ISO 13485 requirements and data compliance issues such as 21 CFR Part 11
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and remote offices globally
  • Ability to travel by automobile or airplane for work
  • Ability to work standing or sitting for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift at least 35 lb.
