About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate Business and IT Strategic Planning with senior leadership, Business Relationship Managers, and subject matter experts
Create IT strategies, technology standards, and implementation guidelines
Plan and lead proof-of-concept initiatives using emerging technologies
Analyze business requirements, market trends, and technology options; provide recommendations to senior leadership
Maintain a holistic view of organizational strategy, processes, information, and technology assets
Provide architectural guidance for new projects and ensure alignment with technical, application, and enterprise standards
Support modernization and Cloud Smart Strategy execution, RPA, AI/ML, Virtual Assistants, and Generative AI initiatives
Provide strategic consultation to assigned lines of business
Provide architectural input and technical consultation for project implementation
Participate in business opportunity identification, innovation portfolio development, and enterprise architecture development
Create business, information, application, and technical architecture models
Assess business priorities and develop alternative technical solutions with associated risks, costs, benefits, and impacts
Conduct informal learning sessions on strategies and emerging technologies
Collaborate with IT functional areas and keep business and technology stakeholders informed of project status and issues
Facilitate cross-line-of-business enterprise solutions
Collaborate with the enterprise program management office on project status, issues, risks, and benefits reporting
Work primarily with one or more business units while providing backup support to others

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience
5–7 years of experience in IT
Minimum of 2 years’ Enterprise Architecture experience
Minimum of 2 years’ Solution Architecture experience
Technical experience leading AI implementations including Generative AI, RPA, and Virtual Assistants
Experience providing EA Governance for Cloud modernization efforts
Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
Solution Architecture experience using AWS, GCP and/or Azure ecosystems for AI and Robotic Process Automation technologies such as UI Path
Ability to develop strategic technology plans and roadmaps, business capability models, and customer journey maps
Ability to present and communicate business and technical concepts
Ability to lead and conduct emerging technology analysis initiatives
Experience leading technology solutions and architectures impacting critical business areas
Strong leadership and negotiation skills with business and technical groups
Strong analytical, conceptual, consultative, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated technology skills across multiple IT domains, including application, security, and infrastructure
Strong customer relationship and trust-building skills
TOGAF Certification preferred
Enterprise Architecture experience using ABACUS EA tool preferred
Proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Lucidchart, Visio, Avolution ABACUS, and SharePoint
