Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as a developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications and services dealing with complex financial business processes on large cross-functional application projects
Facilitate software development efforts and document critical business processes
Analyze current business functions for effectiveness and efficiency opportunities
Assist with process redesign, development, and testing
Ensure software development standards are adhered to
Analyze financial systems and dependent business processes and assist with re-engineering related to business transformation
Develop, maintain, and serve as a subject matter expert for applications handling complex financial business processes
Ensure robust and scalable solutions are implemented
Provide guidance and oversight to quality assurance for new code through integration, staging, and production
Identify, analyze, and resolve problems using troubleshooting tools and techniques
Contribute to continuous improvement, roadmaps, process and methodology standardization, guidelines, and documentation
Collaborate with developers, architects, and distributed cross-functional teams
Develop and apply knowledge of software development trends, technologies, and methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or another related technical field, or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 7+ years as a lead developer or development manager 2
5+ years of broad experience working with development technologies, including Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases or similar relational databases
Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET highly desired
Knowledge of relational database terminology and concepts, including SQL proficiency
Knowledge of ORMs, Entity Framework, and n-Hibernate preferred
Experience developing and maintaining software systems dealing with complex financial business processes
Ability to conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions
Ability to effectively communicate and lead development teams
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
