Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required from 4-year college or university
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams within the last 5 years; candidates from medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors are also welcomed
  • Proven track record of consistent high performance
  • Experience navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers
  • Analytic abilities to seek out, prioritize, and apply relevant information to solve customer problems
  • Ethical leadership and ability to foster ethical behavior and compliance with company policies and laws
  • Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border
  • Ability to travel 60–80% over a broad geography
  • Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory
  • Fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license required
  • Associate level: limited prior sales experience, or 4+ years of military service in a leadership capacity for recently separated US military candidates
  • Territory Account Specialist: 2+ years’ experience in a relevant industry or similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years
  • Senior Territory Account Specialist: 5+ years’ experience in a relevant industry or similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years
  • Executive Territory Account Specialist: 10+ years’ experience in a relevant industry or similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally within a matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate clinical product information
  • Initial training including home study of no more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
  • Customer-facing employees must comply with applicable customer credentialing guidelines, which may require vaccination
