About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead an enterprise mindset across the Radioligand Therapies regional ecosystem to meet and exceed organizational objectives
- Develop, orchestrate, and execute the RLT priority ecosystem customer engagement strategy
- Understand key ecosystem partners’ and local healthcare ecosystem’s needs to support frictionless account experiences, patient access, and education
- Develop and lead collaboration of the Integrated Field Strategy Team across Sales, Medical, Market Access, and Novartis Patient Support functions in a non-reporting relationship
- Build and maintain relationships with C-Suite and D-Suite personnel with appropriate cross-functional partners
- Understand target ecosystem archetype customers and use insights to anticipate trends, articulate business insights, and drive priorities
- Develop and drive strategic plans for the region’s Integrated Field Strategy Team
- Collaborate on pre-launch and launch strategy and execution across headquarters, account, and regional executive teams
- Build strategic customer relationships and identify, prioritize, and champion change opportunities
- Identify collaboration opportunities with ecosystem C-Suite, D-Suite, and non-HCP decision-makers
- Serve as the RLT oncology primary contact and partner with account leads for executive and headquarters exchanges
- Drive internal cross-functional collaboration to eliminate barriers and create solutions
- Lead communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and enterprise collaboration
- Provide alternatives and solutions amid challenges and ambiguity
- Own account performance across the RLT platform and lead opportunities affecting demand-generating functions
- Influence cross-functional teams including sales, access, and other partners
- Establish and lead communications between Novartis, ecosystems, internal account teams, customer engagement leadership, and other Novartis functions
- Anticipate and communicate strategic shifts aligned with organizational goals
- Manage multiple highly critical and complex ecosystem archetype targets
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required from 4-year college or university
- 10+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in complex environments such as medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, or B2B sectors welcomed
- 5+ years’ experience in account management covering Academic Medical Centers, Integrated Health Systems, GPOs and/or Large Community Oncology Integrated Networks
- 2+ years’ experience in project management/leadership and translating strategy into execution
- 2+ years’ experience leading complex projects requiring cross-functional and national alignment
- Recent US experience within the last 5 years with deep understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem
- Strong business background and proven ability to collaborate, work, and lead cross-functionally in a matrix environment
- Ability to build and drive effective strategic account plans aligned to customer and organization goals
- Candidate must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 100 miles from the territory border
- Ability to travel 60–80% over a broad geography, including driving and/or flying within the territory
- Fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license required
- Oncology, Nuclear Medicine, Buy and Bill, or other leading-edge healthcare experience desirable
- Understanding of the macro-economic healthcare landscape desirable
- Ability to comply with customer credentialing guidelines, which may require vaccination
