About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to development of drug products across Novo’s development pipeline
- Apply formulation expertise in early- and late-stage development projects involving peptides, proteins, antibodies or minibinders
- Develop stable and robust injectable products across the pipeline
- Take scientific ownership of formulation activities from early development through later clinical stages
- Provide scientific input and help drive formulation and process development
- Identify formulation challenges early to support project progression
- Design, interpret and report formulation studies for injectable drug products
- Plan and execute studies with scientists, laboratory technicians and specialists
- Contribute to internal and external documentation, including clinical trial applications and patent submissions
- Share formulation knowledge and insights supporting development decisions across the portfolio
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Novo value chain
- Work with stakeholders across Global Research, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Analytical Development, and Global Manufacturing and Supply
- Support projects from early development through late-stage development and process validation
Requirements
What you’ll need- PhD or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering or another relevant natural science field
- At least 3 years of experience within research and development and drug product development across phase I–III
- Hands-on experience with injectable protein, peptide, antibody or minibinder formulation and stability studies
- Experience with phase-appropriate quality expectations and documentation
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-stakeholder setting
- Experience with clinical trial application documentation, patent submissions or cross-functional portfolio knowledge sharing is an advantage
- Curiosity, initiative and ability to create progress in a dynamic environment
- Positive attitude and strong team-player orientation
- Ability to build relationships and contribute to a pleasant working environment
