About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor, analyse and interpret public policy developments across key therapy areas to identify risks and opportunities for Novo Nordisk's portfolio
- Develop and execute policy strategies supporting patient access to innovative treatments in obesity, diabetes and other serious chronic diseases
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, government officials, industry associations and other external stakeholders
- Collaborate with medical affairs, market access, legal and commercial teams to align policy positions with broader business objectives
- Prepare policy briefs, position papers and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Represent Novo Nordisk in external forums, industry coalitions and policy consultations
- Track the competitive and regulatory landscape to anticipate shifts impacting the portfolio and market strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in public policy, political science, health economics, law or a related field
- Significant experience in public affairs, government relations or health policy, ideally within the pharmaceutical or broader healthcare industry
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, pricing and reimbursement frameworks and the regulatory environment
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build trusted relationships with policymakers and external partners
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to translate complex policy topics into clear, compelling narratives
- Proactive, analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions and geographies
- Must be a Thai citizen or permanent resident
- Fluent written and verbal English skills essential
