About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support rebate processing and business assurance activities under Rebate Operations & Insights
  • Ensure timely and accurate rebate payments for Strategic and Non-Strategic customers across Commercial, Part D, and Coverage Gap
  • Review and analyze rebate calculation results and identify and report status and exceptions
  • Provide analytical and consulting services for Business Assurance projects
  • Assist customers and management with contract and payment questions and troubleshoot issues
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Create special reports and provide management analysis based on trends and needs
  • Ensure accurate finance and treasury reporting, including monthly treasury reporting and reconciliations
  • Identify and analyze performance trends and provide recommendations and insights
  • Identify missing claims data and work with customers to obtain it
  • Input, review, validate, process, and analyze rebate payments and adjustments ranging from $100K to $200M or more
  • Prepare contract reports for field sales and home office management
  • Distribute funds and reporting to field sales and rebate customers
  • Review contract terms and conditions and ensure rebate systems reflect them accurately
  • Review and recommend contract language to management
  • Format and manipulate incoming claims data
  • Support data loading, validation, tracking, and scrubbing of rebate claims data
  • Work with external vendors and customers to resolve data issues
  • Maintain accurate payment and contract documentation
  • Generate and distribute supporting reconciliation reports
  • Assist with enhancements to data validation and rebate systems
  • Create and maintain rebate agreements in the rebate system
  • Ensure A/P vendor information is accurate and payments are issued as expected
  • Ensure activities meet service-level agreements and Sarbox controls
  • Maintain membership and formulary linkages in the rebate system
  • Perform ad hoc Business Assurance reporting and participate in compliance projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Advanced PC skills required
  • Contracting and pricing knowledge and expertise required
  • Understanding of contracting concepts and processes and the impact of pricing activities on contracting
  • Ability to apply knowledge of changes in laws and competitive landscape to make sound business decisions
  • Data manipulation skills through a third-party vendor for data scrubbing
  • Experience using financial and/or statistical tools to analyze contract data required
  • Microsoft Access and advanced Excel skills required
  • SQL experience preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative analysis skills required
  • Strong skills with Model N
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to recognize trends, establish forward progress, and focus on both the big picture and small details
  • 0–10% overnight travel required
