About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the data model for an OT-native CMDB, including assets, installed positions, locations, ISA-95 hierarchies, relationships, and asset change history
Define how recorded asset states relate to live network data and resolve discrepancies
Model offline equipment and spreadsheet-imported assets alongside observed assets, distinguishing observed from declared values
Partner with engineering on identity and reconciliation rules across sensors, integrations, and spreadsheets
Define default workflows for planned and unplanned change, vulnerability remediation, asset changes, and safety approvals
Define how the platform integrates with existing CMDB and ITSM tools and how records and work flow between systems
Help determine where AI agents act and where human approval is required
Own product decisions, negotiate solutions with engineering, define release scope, and accelerate decision-making
Work directly with early-access customers to validate, learn, and ship
Collaborate daily with the Europe-based engineering team and cross-functional product team
Report directly to the VP of Product
Promote transparency, trust, and accountability

Requirements

What you’ll need

Product ownership of a CMDB, asset, or configuration data product sold to many customers
Experience making structural product decisions about records, source reconciliation, record attestation, and retained history
First-hand knowledge of CMDB fundamentals that cannot be bolted on later
5+ years of B2B product management at a software vendor
Strong data modeling instincts, including schema design and tradeoff analysis
Experience defining identity or reconciliation rules across multiple data sources
Experience modeling how records change over time
Experience shipping workflow, approval, or change management capabilities
Practical judgment about AI in workflows
Comfort working with enterprise customers and technical stakeholders across operations, security, and IT
Ability to travel to Europe one week per quarter
Preferred experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM Visibility, Change Management, or Operational Technology Management
Preferred experience with BMC Helix CMDB, Freshservice / Device42, Cognite, IBM Maximo, or SAP EAM
Preferred experience with Tamr, Reltio, Informatica MDM, or Axonius
Preferred background in configuration management, IT and cyber asset management, master data management, entity resolution, industrial knowledge graphs, or EAM/CMMS products
OT experience is a plus, not a requirement
Successful candidates will be subjected to background verification checks
