About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build client-ready dashboards and conduct large-scale data analysis
Design data workflows and analytical queries supporting new product features and instances
Apply statistical and data-mining techniques, including fraud analysis, sentiment analysis, regression, and time-series analysis
Support team leads with problem-solving, hypothesis generation, research, and quality control
Communicate findings and explain their business significance to teammates and product leads
Maintain a zero-defect standard across owned and co-managed workstreams
Understand client needs and help resolve complex issues alongside Product Specialists and Product Managers
Provide ongoing support to subscription customers, including additional data cuts and methodology questions
Collaborate with Product Specialists and Product Managers in a cross-functional Agile team to design and build NPS Prism's cloud-based CX benchmarking platform
Partner with Technical Product Managers and Tech Leads to shape new features and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 1 year of experience working with data in a fast-paced, complex business environment
Fluency in English, written and spoken
Solid SQL skills, including writing and structuring queries against relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL
Experience building data visualization dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar tool
Ability to translate business questions into appropriate calculations
Strong communication skills for turning complex data into clear insights
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or another technology-related field, or equivalent hands-on experience (preferred)
Experience building end-to-end automated data pipelines
Experience optimizing SQL queries for performance
Experience with ETL and data-preparation tools such as Alteryx or KNIME
Experience with cloud-native data services and cloud-based ingestion/transformation
Experience with survey programming
