About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Data & Analytics sub-practice within the ABD Service Line and drive its strategic, organizational, and financial development
- Manage integrated collaboration across Sales, Presales, Solutioning, and Delivery teams spanning onshore, nearshore, and offshore locations
- Ensure a high level of delivery excellence
- Expand existing business, acquire new clients, and support the practice’s growth objectives
- Develop growth strategies and position the Data & Analytics portfolio in the market
- Further develop the service portfolio and advance modern technologies—particularly Databricks and Snowflake—as well as related delivery models
- Develop innovative client solutions and scale reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices
- Manage the business performance of the organizational unit, including revenue, profitability, utilization, forecasting, and investment and budget planning
- Provide disciplinary leadership to managers and employees while fostering a high-performance, collaborative corporate culture
- Develop talent, support career paths, and build sustainable capabilities
- Take responsibility for recruiting, workforce planning, and expanding the Data & Analytics organization
- Support governance for strategically important client projects and programs, as well as capacity and resource planning
- Promote collaboration with international delivery centers, shoring locations, and other NTT DATA entities
- Represent the Data & Analytics practice at industry events, client presentations, through white papers, talks, communities, and thought leadership initiatives
- Maintain relationships with clients, technology partners, and internal stakeholders at management level
- Act as an escalation and communication point for business-critical topics
- Drive new technologies and innovation, particularly artificial intelligence, cloud platforms, and software engineering excellence
Requirements
What you’ll need- Successfully completed degree in a natural science, computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Many years of experience in Data, Analytics, and AI
- Sound knowledge of modern software development and delivery models, as well as current technology trends relating to cloud, integration, low-code, Microsoft Dynamics, Adobe, and contact center solutions
- Several years of experience managing complex client programs, transformation projects, or delivery organizations
- Proven success in building and expanding client relationships and driving business development
- Several years of leadership experience, ideally including the management of managers and distributed teams across locations
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset and deep understanding of business and financial interdependencies
- Experience managing P&L, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Confident handling of operational management challenges, escalations, and complex stakeholder situations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills at management and executive level
- High degree of initiative, strong execution skills, and strategic thinking
- Experience working with nearshore and offshore organizations and global delivery models
- Very good written and spoken German and English
