About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the Salesforce Sub-Practice as an integrated practice spanning Solution Sales and Presales, Solutioning, and Delivery, including onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams
  • Expand existing business and develop new client business across all Salesforce areas, including Core Clouds, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and MuleSoft
  • Work collaboratively with Portfolio and Client Partners, peers, Heads of Industry, and Heads of Practices
  • Drive innovation and continuously expand and enhance the Salesforce service portfolio
  • Manage and develop the relationship with Salesforce
  • Take responsibility for the cost center, cost control, cost optimization, and employee utilization
  • Provide disciplinary leadership for Team Leads and employees at NTT DATA DACH locations
  • Shape the professional development of Team Leads and employees
  • Take responsibility for hiring and the continued expansion of the practice
  • Support the governance of key Salesforce projects and actively contribute to workforce planning
  • Manage partnerships, collaborations, subcontractors, departments, NTT DATA operating companies, group affiliates, and shoring partners
  • Independently market offerings to new and existing clients through training sessions, white papers, presentations, and keynote speeches
  • Take responsibility for marketing, innovation management, and investment planning for practice development
  • Independently manage client stakeholders in coordination with Client Partners
  • Serve as a communication and escalation point for clients and within the Group

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Level 6 or 5
  • Extensive experience (more than 10 years) with the Salesforce software stack and core Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes
  • Knowledge of the latest developments and trends in the Salesforce platform
  • Extensive experience managing large projects or programs
  • Several years of professional experience (more than 5 years) in consulting
  • Several years of professional experience (more than 5 years) in solution sales
  • Extensive leadership experience (more than 10 years), including leading leaders in international environments and across distributed teams
  • Very strong understanding of business and financial interrelationships
  • Confident and professional approach to operational management challenges and day-to-day conflicts
  • Highly developed, audience-oriented, inclusive, and constructive communication style
  • Highly developed delegation skills
  • Quality-conscious, independent, and goal-oriented working style, with a high level of initiative and commitment
  • Experience collaborating with nearshore and offshore shoring locations
