About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct investigative work to determine which data is appropriate for each situation
Design tests or extract information when needed data is unavailable
Support the team in making data-based decisions by monitoring analyses and decisions
Ensure project flow and make risk-taking processes comfortable despite uncertainty
Mentor the team
Understand products and interactions with other areas
Drive customer growth for Nubank’s credit card and savings account acquisition, activation, and channel strategy
Lead and develop a team of business analysts embedded across the Business Unit
Set the analytics roadmap and own the squad’s OKRs
Build the operating model that turns acquisition and activation data into business decisions
Optimize performance and budget allocation across channels
Lead migration to an AI-ready data architecture
Build experimentation and monitoring infrastructure for fast, confident decision-making
Participate in projects impacting a large number of clients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Analytical capacity, including ease with numbers and calculations and mathematical problem-solving ability
Understanding of business basics, including risks and opportunities and interaction between business and technical areas
Problem-solving ability and creativity
Ability to understand the impact of decisions and work on customers’ experience
Willingness and ease of learning, especially tools
Openness to receive and incorporate feedback
Adaptability to a multifunctional environment
SQL, Python, and Scala use for data extraction
Ability to work with large volumes of data
Ability to work onsite two to three days per week
English proficiency sufficient for work-related communication
