About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supervise and ensure the correct functioning of operational routines
- Guide and engage the team in partnership with leadership, promoting development and autonomy
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial-market regulations
- Develop and implement operational processes and controls with engineering and other stakeholders
- Participate in defining the area's roadmap and align projects with product and engineering teams
- Manage and mitigate operational risks and potential failures
- Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, and Operational Risk
- Manage area systems, configurations, access, and investment-system operations
- Conduct settlement and processing activities for fixed-income assets, especially private credit, financial events, and custody
- Resolve operational problems and investigate incidents
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Support implementation of new financial products using fixed-income and custody expertise
- Supervise control action plans and ensure timely resolution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in Operations and Fixed Income products
- Robust support in the implementation and validation of new systems
- Experience with INOA System Fixed Income Modules: OBR, File Interface (FI), Instrument Manager (IM), Bond Broker (BB)
- Knowledge of Fixed Income Products: Banking (CDB, LCA, and LCI) and Private Credit (CRA, CRI, and Debêntures)
- Fixed Income Reporting
- Asset Portability, including Transfer, Donation, and Estate Settlement
- Technology skills to support discussions with product and engineering teams
- Programming experience with Python and SQL (will be a plus)
- English speaking (will be a plus)
- Vast knowledge of the investment market, applicable concepts, practices, and regulations
- Technical mastery in fixed income assets, especially private credit
- Familiarity with settlement, custody, and financial events processes
- In-depth knowledge of investment systems and platforms such as CETIP, SELIC, and internal systems
- Experience implementing new fixed income products throughout the implementation cycle
- Ability to develop and implement operational processes and controls aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, compliance, legal, and operational risk areas
- Proactivity in strategic definitions and roadmap planning
- Analytical profile with results focus and ability to handle simultaneous demands
