About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles for Digital Assets across Brazil and Nu Global.
  • Build P&Ls for digital asset products, including trading, swaps, custody, and stablecoin yield.
  • Model how volume, take rate, balances, pricing, and partner costs flow through to Nubank's consolidated results.
  • Track gross profit and cost-to-serve, including execution and liquidity costs, custody and platform provider fees, payment network and funding costs, and regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Support expansion into new geographies with financial analysis for launches, including unit economics, local rails and funding methods, licensing, and legal entity structures.
  • Partner with Controllership, Treasury, Legal, and Risk on custody accounting, reconciliation, yield accrual, and liquidity planning.
  • Work with Digital Assets product and business leaders to shape pricing, product, and investment decisions.
  • Prepare clear, concise executive materials on complex topics.
  • Use AI, advanced analytics, and automation to accelerate planning and analysis while reviewing AI-generated output.
  • Operate autonomously as a senior individual contributor and help raise FP&A team standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
  • Experience with crypto, stablecoins, FX, or cross-border payments.
  • Experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate development, or business analysis, ideally in financial services.
  • Track record of building P&Ls and forecasting models for financial products, not only maintaining them.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to build P&Ls for trading, custody, payments, or banking products from a blank page.
  • Understanding of trading and liquidity, custody, stablecoins and yield, FX, and card and payment networks, or ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work with incomplete information, make assumptions explicit, and build planning processes.
  • Ability to use modern analytics and AI tools and apply human review to AI-generated output.
  • SQL and data skills are a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite two to three days per week.
  • Legal authorization to work in Brazil is required.
