About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions
- Identify underlying requirements and present solution options and recommendations
- Act as a trusted advisor on Salesforce platform capability and approach
- Own end-to-end architecture across data model, automation, security, and integrations
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data models, and technical design specifications
- Build advanced Salesforce Flows
- Write production Apex, including classes, triggers, asynchronous processing, and test classes
- Extend user experience with Lightning Web Components
- Review existing automation and code and recommend improvements
- Configure Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, Lightning pages, security and sharing, reports, and dashboards
- Own delivery end to end, including quality, timelines, functional requirements, risks, dependencies, and blockers
- Run backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution reviews
- Establish and enforce naming conventions, documentation, source control, and deployment practices
- Mentor consultants and analysts
- Ensure testing covers declarative and programmatic components
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years in Salesforce consulting or implementation — genuinely client-facing
- Extensive hands-on Salesforce Flow experience
- Proven production Apex: bulkification, governor limits, order of execution, testing
- LWC experience and integrations via REST/SOAP APIs
- Comfortable across multiple client engagements, often working independently
- Able to get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar Salesforce products and functionality
- Ability to explain technical concepts to business users and senior leadership alike
- Strong technical judgement — comfortable pushing back when a solution won't scale
- Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I/II, Service Cloud, Field Service) — nice to have
- CI/CD and deployment tooling, Git, integration platforms or middleware — nice to have
- Enterprise implementations; Utilities, Construction, Manufacturing or Field Services — nice to have
