About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the scientific team delivering strategic Medical Affairs projects
  • Lead and manage accounts to ensure high-quality, accurate medical/scientific content
  • Develop and grow Medical Affairs work
  • Plan, lead, and facilitate strategic client engagements, including advisory boards, strategic planning sessions, workshops, and other scientific and Medical Affairs initiatives
  • Identify and develop strategic and tactical business recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients
  • Apply scientific, therapeutic area, drug development, and market expertise to identify needs and anticipate challenges
  • Articulate scientific and therapeutic information in CRM
  • Foster innovation and collaboration across Nucleus
  • Partner with scientific and client services VPs and the managing director on business development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • PhD, PharmD, or MD with 10+ years of relevant medical communications experience
  • In-depth understanding of Medical Affairs work in the cardio-renal-metabolic (CRM) space
  • Track record of successful scientific leadership across several clients/therapeutic categories
  • US launch experience required
  • Global experience is a plus
  • Some travel required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing staff/direct reports, potentially across multiple locations
