About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the Customer Success function end-to-end, including the operating system, team, and performance number
- Build customer champions, drive case studies, and own a world-class post-sales motion
- Mature the customer-success operating system with health scoring, QBR cadence, escalation paths, save-play library, and executive sponsor program
- Own GDR and define healthy, at-risk, and churning customer states with corresponding save playbooks
- Design the activation model, define product adoption, and drive change management and time to value
- Coach and hire Customer Success Managers as the team grows
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of total experience
- 3+ years managing a team of approximately 3–8 people
- Experience owning hiring, headcount, and performance
- Experience building a customer-facing function and creating its playbook
- Direct ownership of GDR and experience with NDR, GRR, TTV, activation, and expansion
- Customer success, implementation, solutions, chief of staff, product management, consulting, or account management experience with comparable responsibilities
- Systems design experience, including signals, plays, owners, review loops, dashboards, cadences, and escalations
- AI fluency and experience building repeatable systems and infrastructure
- Ability to engage credibly in Controller/CAO, implementation, audit, or accounting-technology conversations
- Player-coach approach; willingness to work hands-on in a company under 100 people
